8th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Join Mountain Area Preservation (MAP) for the 8th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival—On Tour in Truckee Tahoe. This renowned environmental film festival will showcase 1.5 hours of awe-inspiring films focused on environmental conservation, adventure, social justice, and youth empowerment. Through captivating storytelling, the festival aims to inspire activism and spark meaningful conversations about pressing environmental issues.

  • Friday, April 19th:
    • Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
    • Location: Community Arts Center, Historic Downtown Truckee
    • Tickets:
      • General Admission: $25
      • General Admission + MAP Membership: $45
      • VIP: $60
    • Ticket Inclusions: Klean Kanteen metal cup, MAP membership gift (Membership level), reserved seating, festival shirt, drink tickets, and popcorn (VIP).
  • Saturday, April 20th:
    • Time: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm (Earth Day Festival)
    • Location: Village at Palisades, Truckee Tahoe
    • Event: Wild Child Kids’ program
    • Admission: FREE
    • Screening Times: 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
    • Venue: Alpenglow room (Coffeebar side)
    • Seating: Limited to 100 seats per showing, first-come, first-served basis.
